Visa Validity Issue

Hi,
I got 6 mo multiple entries visa in April this year and so it is valid till Oct. Now due to demand of circumstances, I appeared for visa renewal in August and I was denied a visa this time. But my old visa has not been stamped as 'canceled' so is it still valid till October??? Can I fly again with that visa?
