  • B1/B2 renewal - dropbox appointment and visa appointment waiver?

    Hi,

My mom who is in India, her previous B1/B2 visa have expired. Is it possible to get drop box appointment and visa appointment waiver? I have created a new DS160, paid the fees however do not see an option for drop box appointment on the website 'https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=India'.

Any pointers will be really appreciated.

    Thanks

why not contact the embassy, as no one on this site has the up to date info nor authority to make this kind of decision,?

Members here could have experiences to share with other members. If you have nothing useful to add then refrain from replying.

including mine, which is vastly more than just about everyone on this site, yours included (which is zero)...how many visa applicants have YOU interterviewed? (0, I imagine). How many years have you worked in or managed a consular section? (0). So what is it that you actually 'know' about the process? Yep....nothing,

Your experience means squat when your replies to emails are mostly to stoke your ego. Keep doing that it if makes you feel better lol. As a member I don't have to have to have a PHD in interviewing applicants. I'm here to ask questions and if I have anything useful to share related to my experience, I will. Otherwise not going to chime in with unhelpful fluff comments. You make it sound like you're running the US Visa Center. You're a nobody just largely posting gibberish.

gosh....and your opinion, worth as much as a bag of manure, is based on what first hand knowledge? Oh wait....you were the janitor at a visa center, right? While cleaning toilets, you overheard someone talking and that made you an expert? Better stick to what you barely know.....
