Hi,
My parents would be visiting us this year and i would be applying for their visa.
I need a suggestion from experts in this forum for the following situation:
My father ( who is employed and is a senior professor in India) got his visitor visa rejected early this year ( some time in March), which he applied to attend a US conference to give lecture on one of his publications.
I did not sponsor my father though i filled the forms ( on his behalf)for the VISA interview online. He did his own funding.The reason for the denial was "refused a visa under Section 214(b) ".
Both of my parents have never visted US before.Though my father has visited Europe, Singapore for conferences before.
I will be sponsoring my parents this time.
My question: is it risky for both of my parents to go for the visa interview at the same time or should they be going separately? We would like to have at least one of them here.
