I'll keep my situation as brief as possible -
Living at family home, bit of a long story as to why but basically my name isn't on any deeds/bills.
I travelled to the U.S for just under 90 days on an ESTA in 2018, took a career break to do so but got alot of grief on entry even though I had a job to go back to. Did the same in 2019 only I quit the job to do this but had an extremely easy time getting in even though there wasn't a job to go back to.
Have worked in current role since September 2021 although it's through an agency so will finish at some stage. Guessing they'll be a ton stricter if I was trying to enter for say 6 months so is it even worth me bothering to try for the B2 visa if I don't have a job lined up to come back to? One plus for me may be that I've been to the U.S around 10 times and always left by the date I was supposed too. Obviously going to be the Embassy and getting the B2 visa doesn't mean I'll be let in when I get to the states. Am I increasing my chances if I say I'm staying with a family member or a friend or does that make it seem like I'm living there rather than being a tourist?
