Important::: DS-157 Form for Tourist visa for parents.

Hi all,

I have some questions regarding DS-157 form:

I am applying for tourist visa for my parents in USA Embassy, New Delhi, India. My parents age is 64 and 62..

1. what is DS-157 form???? whats the purpose of this form?

2. Should my parents need to fill DS-157 form????

3. In what cases, one need to fill this form??? Who all needs to fill this form?

You don't need to fill the DS 157 form . Its clearly given in the website in
visitors visa section who needs to fill and who not to. as they are 64 and 62 don't need only 156

But its written in the appointment letter of my parents, that everybody needs to fill DS-157 form..

So should my parents need to fill this form

That's wrong.

DS-157 Not needed.

If you just want to be really sure, fill DS-157 and be prepared to give it if asked. But I am sure it is not needed.
