In August, 2004 I wanted to travel to the US with my boyfriend whose parents are legally in the US. He has a green card and we planned to travel together. We wanted to visit his parents and stay for only two weeks. I applied for a tourist visa. However I did not get the visa. After some months we broke up. This year in January I applied again for visitor's visa because my boss just got back from Florida and he told me how enjoyable it was and I should go there for a two week long vacation. But this time I again was turned off because in August I was together with my boyfriend and the consul thought we are still together and I wanted to go and stay at his parents' house. The consul said that my ex-boyfriend's family is waiting for me in the US. This is not true, but he did not believe it. I really want to travel to the US, but only for two weeks for a vacation.
How long should I have to wait until I apply again?
What proof should I give that I want to go for a vacation only and that I am not together with my boyfriend?
All of my documents were good, the consul said that I only need to prove that I will not visit and stay at my ex-boyfriend's parents' house. How can I prove it?
