Child's status copy

Hello,

I am planning on applying for visa for my parents and brother. My brother is a second year engineering student.

1. The documents for applying for visa interview includes "Child's legal status copy.". What would that be? I am currently on F1 status, OPT.

2. I am planning on taking an appointment for my mother and father on one date and my brother on a separate date. Would that be okay.

3. Would there be problems for my brother getting his visa, as he is a student. How can he convice the consulate that he would come back. Would "completing his studies" be a convincing reason.

1. proof of your F1 status, such as F1 visa stamp, f1 approval, I-20 etc.
2. Ok.
3. Yes. May be. It is difficult to come up with guaranteed reason.
