Visitor visa - Revisiting US within a month

Hi,

My mom (who has come in B1 visitor visa) has to return back to India due to family emergency by next week (mid of Nov 2010) whereas her I-94 expires only on 7th March 2011.

Can she return to US by end of Dec 2010?

Is there any specific period limit to revisit US in visitor's visa?

Any immediate clarification is appreciated.

There are no specifics around this subject and really depends on the POE officer. In general, it is suggested that one spend atleast double the time they stayed here in the home country before revisiting.
