Hey all
I'm due to fly on Nov 11 from Houston to Dubai and my I94 is lost. I'm worried about what implications it will have for my future visit.
I haven't lost it as such. It was left at a cousin's place and she mailed it to the wrong address (It wasn't grossly wrong. She missed the apt no and the guy could have given it in the leasing office. The same USPS guy had given another mail from her and had left it in the leasing office!!). Currently the mail is being returned to the sender and although I made repeated requests to USPS to route it back to the correct address they claim they are unable to do so. They say it will go back to the sender and the sender has to send it again. All this will take 5-6 business days and I cant' reschedule my flight for other reasons. I am due to fly out on Nov 11.
Can anybody suggest what I can do? I'm planning on goin to the airport really early and asking emirates airlines if they will be able to assist me. If that fails I plan to goto customs and border protection desk and explain my problem to them.
I'm currently on a visit to the US. This is my third visit in the last 5 years. I have been issues a 6 months visa at the POE. Its been two months since I've landed in the US.
Has anyone been in a situation like this before?
Thanks
