form DS -160, need help about mothers name

hi,
i am new to this forum.need your help.
my mother given name is bit large in her passport. "ABCDEFGH"
but in my passport it is like " DEFGH"

here problem is my mother used "DEFGH" in all her other documents( ex : election ID, ration card , etc) except her passport.

so can i enter the name "DEFGH" name , as " other names used "in the form DS 160.

Her name is as per what is there in the passport.

You can use other names in the other names field.
