B2 Visa to visit brother in law - DS160 Question

I am a married woman based in Bengaluru, India.
My son (10 years old) has a school holidays during April and May.
We are planning to visit my brother in law - my husband's brother - during that period.

We are confused on what to do as person paying for the trip?
My husband will pay for Visa fees, traveler's insurance and flight tickets but my brother in law will pay for all other US expenses like theme park tickets, eating out, etc..

Can you please help?
