Visitor VISA B2- I134 form

I am filling out I134 form for a friend. The form needs only one sponsor information or since we (my husband and I ) have the combine income we file income tax return jointly.
Does he have to include his income with mine on the form? does he need to sign the form?

If the couple is willing to make their joint income available for sponsorship, they use the combined income. Otherwise, use the single income of the sponsor.
