Visa Expiration question

I am a 16 year old student living in Pennsylvania, with a Canadian citizenship. I have the chance to go on a school trip this summer to Greece, but I am on an H4 Visa that expires September 2024 10.0.0.0.1. My parents said that traveling isn't allowed within 6 months of expiry, as we won't be let back in to the country. Is there anything I do about this? such as renew it early within time? Thanks!
