OFC Appointment Cancellation Email received.

Hello Everyone,

I need help regarding my Tourist Visa appointment. I have applied for the Tourist visa in January 2024 and my OFC appointment date was scheduled for 9/23/2024 and my visa interview date is scheduled for 9/30/2024.

But today I received an email from the [email protected] and it says that my appointment for 9/23/2024 has been cancelled. So my concern is what shall I do as my interview appointment date is scheduled only a week after.

And I did not cancel my appointment, so how come it got cancelled? And on top of that when I login to reschedule, it does not show me a calendar and a message is being displayed saying "NO SLOTS AVAILABLE".

I have sent an email regarding the same to [email protected] AND also raised a case on the site itself.

So can anyone tell me why this happened and is there anyone else facing such issues.

This is for my sister and BIL.

Same situation here. Received OFC appointment cancellation email. On checking USVisascheduling.com, noticed that the OFC appointment is cancelled only for primary applicant. Appointment for dependents are still intact. sent email to support to check this.

Our appointment was on 9/24/2024 at Kolkata OFC.

I faced a similar issue a few months back. My OFC appointment got canceled without any notice, but my visa interview was still scheduled. I kept checking the site for available slots, and after a few days, new slots opened up. Keep an eye on the scheduling site and try logging in at different times of the day. Sometimes new slots are released unexpectedly. Also, try calling the customer service number if available. They might provide more immediate assistance.
