E-visa payment keeps failing

Hi, I’ve been trying to pay for an e-visa application to the Russian federation through the official website. When I try to pay, I am directed to a UAE website where I need to pay using AED (which I have) using Telr, but when I try to pay and after allowing the transaction with my bank on my side, I keep getting a “payment cancelled” page. I have tried to pay with several cards linked to two different accounts with enough funds on them and on several devices, but I keep getting the same message. Does anyone have any experience with this and/or advice as to how I could solve this? I have already sent an email to the payment company by the way but they haven’t replied in over 24 hours.

Yeah, that sounds frustrating especially when you’ve done everything right on your end. Payment failures like this are surprisingly common when dealing with high-risk regions or industries. I ran into a similar wall last year with a different cross-border service, and eventually found that switching to a high risk payment processing solution was the only thing that worked. I’ve been using Corefy’s high-risk payment gateway ever since it gave me way more flexibility with providers and currencies, and I’ve had way fewer declines. Worth checking out if this keeps happening.
