My two family members recently went through the B2 visa (tourist visa) process. The officer asked only two questions "How many kids do you have in America?" And "How did they get there?" After only these two questions both members of my family were denied the tourist visa.
We provided several documents as proof that they would be supported financially while visiting, a proof that one of my family members would be graduating and documentation to support that they are attending college.
However, they were only asked to provide their Passports. Instead of looking at the other documentation we provided.
Is it worth reapplying for the B2 visa even though 2 of us are green card holders (we were admitted through the DV lottery/program) and one is a united States citizen?
