Hi. I'm going to the US, more specifically in Hawaii on October for a School field trip. I have both Japanese and Filipino passports and i was born in the Philippines, but now i live in Japan.
Japan is in one if the Visa waiver program and all my classmates are exempted from applying for a visa. My school just told me today that I need to apply for a visa which is gonna cost around 100k yen https://9apps.ooo/ .
I'm confused if i need to apply for one since i'm currently residing in Japan and have a Japanese passport as well, since one of my parents is Japanese.
Do i need to apply for a visa? is this because i have dual passports?
