Hello. I applied for a B1/B2 visa and had my interview. Told me I was approved then placed me in AP same day. I had made no travel plans and now I no longer want the visa and would like to withdraw my application. I am making plans to go elsewhere. Has anyone ever tried to withdraw after the interview? I have sent an email to the visa office at the Embassy saying I want to withdraw and would like to have my passport back but no response. Do I need to send a formal letter too? Thank you!
