US sponsorship in visitor visa

My husband (on L1 visa) is sponsoring his parents' visitor visa to US. Will the consular officer still see the amount of funds in my in-laws' account and can a low income for my in-laws be a cause of rejection of their visitor visa? My husband has a $80,000+ annual income and $30,000 bank deposits.

If your husband has enough money to support them, officer usually does not care how much money actual visitor has.
