Invitation letter

Hi
I am planning to get my mother here for a couple of months. She came here last year on a 6 month visa and stayed for 2.5 months. At that time, I was on a H4 visa and my husband was the sponsorer. Now i am on a H1 but i want my husband to send the invitation letter sttaing that he is going to sponsor her trip.

My question is now that i am on a H1, will the consulate expect me to sponsor the trip?

There is no such expectation. He can sponsor.
