  • Vietnam Visa Issue

I’m looking to see if anyone can help clarify the visa processing process. I am a U.S citizen

I submitted my visa on 24 April and got an email on the 28th of April saying it was processed and was billed the 25 dollars.

However, the website still shows a status of processing. Does this mean the visa wasn’t accepted? My travel is this Saturday and I’m starting to get a bit nervous.

I emailed the embassy help line but got no response.

"Processed" usually means a decision has been made, not necessarily approved. The website status often lags behind email notifications.

    Immediately:
    1. Check for passport/delivery: See if your passport, with a visa stamp, is being couriered or is ready for pickup.
    2. Scrutinize emails: Look for another email with the final decision or refusal details (check spam/junk).
    3. Call the embassy/consulate: Explain the urgency for your Saturday travel, providing your application details.

Stay calm and systematically check all avenues for information.
