Overstaying J1 visa?

My coworker who is from France has decided to stay and work illegally for our company after his visa ends I told him it’s not a great idea but he is certain no one will care if he stays. What can happen to him and is it likely they look for him since he is going to over stay and continue to work under the table https://speedtest.vet/ https://vidmate.bid/ ?

Hi,
It will make severe impact if he overstays in the USA. He has to take necessary action to stay in the USA. He can consider changing his status or J-1 waiver. Please advise him to consult Immigration lawyer as soon as possible to take necessary action.
