Hi,
I am on H1 and working as a fulltime employee. I wanted to call my family (parents and Younger (11yr) brother). I will be sponsoring my family.
I have couple questions regarding my situation.
1. Is there a problem apply for visiting visa for my family, as it includes an 11yr old?
2. I have one elder sister here in the USA on F1 and her husband is on H1b. Should my parents mention this if they ask? In addition, my father’s brother and his family are here in USA. Should they mention that too? The reason I ask is because, it is just me sponsoring them.
3. Do my parents have to carry the visa documents of my elder sister and her husband proving that they are indeed family members?
4. There is an immigration file in process (could be closed now) for my family (Parents and brother). We are unaware of the status of that file, and may be canceled because my uncle did not keep a watch on it and neither did my parents send any documents (family problems). Do my parents have to mention about this file and can say that file got canceled? Will it be a negative factor for the visiting visa?
5. My father retired and is planning to establish a small business, but have not started anything yet. What shall he answer in the interview when they ask about his job? If he says he is retired and at home, will that be a negative point?
Please advice as soon as possible,
Thanks in advance
