Hey how long does it take to get the checklist

My partners fiancée petition was approved we got the notice on September 10th but we called the embassy and were told that she would get a checklist by mail. How long does that take and who should we contact to see progress if we can

Hi,
Since it is approved on September 10, its better, you contact the office. First you please contact NVC then connect with Embassy's immigrant visa section. Please complete visa inquiry form under embassy website.
Typical timing for sending checklist is less than 2 months.
