I submitted our applications online to Calgary consulate (also my husband’s) last Nov 1st. It was approved yesterday, Nov 12th. It’s for single entry. We just uploaded all the things needed as we are Filipinos with PR here in Canada. We also included a cover letter together with the flight details and hotel bookings. This will just be a sidetrip since we are going to the Philippines for a vacation so why not go to Japan as tickets are cheaper. We requested bank statements in our bank and uploaded the past 3 months transactions.
