Indian e visa rejection

Hello. My bf applied for an evisa from US to India only for it to get rejected on the basis of his passport not being ordinary when in reality he indeed has an ordinary passport. I have tried calling them their bot number isnisn't useful. The other number is unreachable. They don't respond to emails I've tried already.

Can anyone help?

Hi,
If it get rejected, without delay please do reapply. When you reapply, Double-check what was selected on the application. A rejection does not stop him from applying again. Many travelers have reapplied and got approval within a week.
