I’m a Filipino citizen with permanent residency in Germany, and I’m planning to travel to Egypt for a vacation. Can I get a visa on arrival at the Egyptian airport, or do I need to apply for a visa beforehand?
I’ve been trying to contact the Egyptian agencies in Berlin and Frankfurt for weeks, but they’ve been unreachable and unresponsive. The official website is also not very clear. However, on the Berlin website, I found an English document stating that foreigners of certain nationalities who hold residency in Schengen countries are allowed to obtain an entry visa upon arrival. On the German version of the document, it states that a “Notfallvisum” (emergency visa) can be issued. router login 192.168.l.l.link/
I’m not sure whether this “Notfallvisum” is the same as a visa on arrival. If anyone has had a similar experience, I would really appreciate your advice. Thank you.
