  • Applying for a south african e visa

Hi I’m Nigerian and have a school trip second week of march to South Africa so I need a visa(I currently live in the Uk), Nigerians can do an e visa so I went directly to their site to apply for one. I’ve read so many bad reviews and good reviews even about it all but how long do you think it will take for processing and woukd it be in time for the trip do you think? Also it required us to have a yellow fever vaccine which I had as a child and so I don’t have it in the uk with me would I be required to bring it with me to immigration when entering the country? omegle xender

Hi! Since you’re applying for a South African e-visa from the UK, processing times can vary. Generally, e-visas can take anywhere from a few days up to 2–3 weeks, but it’s safer to apply as early as possible to avoid any last-minute issues.

Regarding the yellow fever vaccine, South Africa requires proof if you’re coming from a country with yellow fever risk—which includes Nigeria. Even if you had it as a child, you usually need to show an official certificate (the “yellow card”) at immigration. If you don’t have it with you, it could cause delays or entry issues. You might want to contact your local travel clinic or the South African consulate in the UK to see if they can provide a replacement certificate or advice on your situation.

Applying early and having your vaccine documentation sorted is the best way to make sure your trip goes smoothly!
