Japan visa application tips

Hi, need help from Indians who have applied for Japan tourist visa recently (want to get an idea about the rejection rate) I have booked my flights from 28April to 9 May (Non refundable unfortunately) so want to make the visa application very solid - I have a bank balance of 4 lacs INR (5000 USD) spread across two accounts Is that good enough? The hotel bookings are done, refundable and the itinerary is detailed. What else can we be careful about? We are a group of 6 friends
