Support Documents for Tourist Visa.

Hello All,

I am planning to get my parents to visit us to USA on tourist Visa. One of the support document needed is the last three years tax return paper. Those tax return documents contains all my family members SSN displayed with all other confidential information. I am worried that if the bundle of these sensitive documents falls in bad hands while in transit, we could fall in new troubles.

Is there any other option where i could send the tax documents with all family member SSNs erazed? Is the letter from IRS shows all personal info?

any help or guidance on this highly appreciated.

I received my 2010 tax return a few days ago. I have scanned the pages and have created a .pdf file. This file has been secured with password requirement to open the file. You can do this by going to Advanced menu -> Security -> Manage Security Policies.

Create a new policy that requires a person to add password to open the file and then apply the policy and send it through email. Your parents can then take a printout.
