while filling monthly salary in form DS 160 only the income from the business is to be filled in case of own business or "total monthly income" that includes salary(from business) + rent from property + interest from deposits etc. should be filled?

While filling the forms for my parents, I dont remember seeing income requirements in DS-160 form. If you mean I-134 - Affadavit of Support, then your income is exactly as how it appears in your tax return. If in your tax return, you have alwasy showed all the different types of income, then YES, you have to show a consolidated income for the year.

there's a section where you have to fill details of your current profession and the monthly salary from that business/profession.
