Visitors Visa Issue !

My parents would be applying for visitors visa from Calcutta. I am currently in F1 visa and they would be here to attend my commencement ceremony. I have a job lined up here starting Fall 05. Is it necessary for my parents to mention that they know about my plans or say " we are not sure of my son's plans" if asked?
