My parents had the interview march22 got rejected
asked just 2 Q
1.who is there in usa?
my father answerd my daughter
the officer asked the proof they showed my passport and birthcertificate

2then the officer asked to my paretns u both ar married ?

My fahter answerd yes! then the officer asked the documents my father showed the wedding photo then the officer asked marriage certificate then there visa got rejected

The Q is Marriage certificate for applicants is required ?
Is it possible to get marriage certificate for my paretns now ?

and also my mother got married in early age of 15 is it possible to get marriage certificate for them

can we reapply with marriage certificate

Dont' ur parents passports' show the same last name?? This is one of the most weird reasons for a visa rejection I guess !!! I am glad they didnt ask for the priest who married ur parents...

Nywys....u can always ask them to get a notarised affidavit from the court or office of sub-registrar for the particular locality/area they live in. They wud usually be asked to swear in front of the court or registrar...abt the truth in their marriage. It is pretty easy to prove it..thru their ration cards/ home papers/bank statements/ur father's tax documents etc.

As silly as this qn sounds...if thr is some point in the application/documents tht is causing this...having an affidavit on the next interview might help. I wud also carry a wedding snap if possible....though it needs quite some imagination at times to relate the same people to those pics.

I have rarely seen parents' marriage certificate being asked for visitor visa.

But they are free to ask whatever they want to.
