Personal Letter Of Invitation

1. my husband is sponsoring my mother , so he is sending the covering letter to the consulate inviting my mother .
but in the personal letter , can we write it in such a way that we both are addressing and inviting her as it is personal letter????

2. Also apart from the covering letter that the sponsor sends which contains a detail list of the enclosures as well , should the visitor carry another covering letter which will contain the list of documents that the visitor is carrying (meaning visitor docs) apart from sponsor's docs??????

please reply as it is very very urgent.
