Mother's visa got rejected

My mother (51yrs old, widowed) went for her visa yesterday and got rejected under section 214b.
Her questions were:
1. Whom are you visiting?
Ans. My daughter
2. Whos in India?
Ans. Son and Daughter-in-law
3. Whats your source of income?
Ans. Son takes care of me.

Thats it , the lady rejected the visa.
While its so disappointing to think its so hard to get your loved ones to visit, I would just like to know what are the options we have left now.
My mother also has property thro' which she gets the rent. They didnt give her time to say this and also since my brother is doing our family business, there is all means to show that she is of help to him.
Are these good ways to present the case again before the consular officer??
I was suggesting my mother to get the CA statement out and show the property details.

Do you all feel that if she goes again for the interview, they will suspect her as she just got rejected?

All I want is my mom to attend my graduation ceremony. Me and my cousin who stays with me ( my cousin is on H1 visa) are her sponsors. While I am the family tie here, financial support was shown through my cousin.

Pleaseeeeeeeeeee help me bring her for few months. I wud be really grateful.

If she just got rejected, she may not get appointment again for next several months.

Next time, she can show whatever income she has (property rent, interest, pension as appropriate) and CA statement regarding property or assets.

Thanks for your post. You mean we should wait several months or we wont get the appointment date.
Also I have another question: When my mother goes for her second interview, do I have to furnish new bank statements,etc for that date as what I have given her was a 6 month statement uptill Jan2005.

dont give up hope. my parents got rejected last week and i managed to book a slot for may first week for them. now the trick here is keep trying at around morning 10:30 am - 11:30 am (USA time) and evening 11:00pm - 12:15am (USA TIME) and you will get so many slots. this is the time people generally log in to tts website to cancel their slots.
trust me you will see you can do it.
after rejection one can go as many as times they wish, their is no limit.
all thebest friend and hope you get an appointment availability and your parents get their visa also.

I shall follow that. So do I have to furnish all new docs, such as bank statement, affidavit , etc .. or the same docs which she has would do?
