Want to apply for Visitor Visa(B2) while my wife's H4 is in process

Six months back I got my H1 and last week I have applied for my wife's H4. Here my question is now can I apply for my mom's visitor visa(B2) ? or do I need to wait for my wife's H4 approval ?

Your wife applied for her own H4 visa as your dependent.
Your mother can apply for her own B2 visa and you can provide funds for her trip. The two applications are unrelated.
