Finger print- a question

My parents are having there visitor visa interview on 4th April, 2005.Yesterday my dad's index finger got cut.I heard that the consulate wont issue the visa if there's a cut in the index finger.Is it okay if it heals by 4th? If not what are the other procedures?Should he visit the embassy again after the cut heals?

Please let me know about that.I am really worried.

If his finger print can be taken at the time of interview, it should be fine.
Otherwise, he needs to provide finger print later and until then visa won't be issued.

Things can be determined precisely only when he goes there for interview and see how finger prints come out.
