How to invite parents while on OPT(F-1)

Hi,

I have just started working on OPT and this is my first week. I want to invite my parents for a visit to US. My husband is still a student and is on F-1 visa. Is it better to send invitation letter from my husband's side as it is simpler and not much documentation is required. Or should I send the invite but a lot of documentation will be required like 6 months pay stubs etc.
Please suggest what would be better and what can be the possible complications?

Depending on who is paying for the trip, they will have to show approx. $5,000 per person. Invitation letter is not a big deal, you can write it since they are your parents.
