  • Banagladesh Mother Visitor Visa Denial

Last week, our second child was born and we are also the primary care givers for our 3 year-old-son. At these circumstances, we require my mother’s help for approximately 8 weeks starting immediately. On 3/23/05 and 4/11/05, my mother had appeared at the Dhaka U.S. consulate and the consular denied visitor’s visa based on failed to prove non-immigrant intention on both occasions. My mother is a 55-year-old woman, a full-time teacher, fully financially solvent who has no intention to immigrate to the U.S. since rest of her children and her family live in Bangladesh. On the other hand, she had visited the U.S. in 2000 and departed after two months, which was prior to the expiration of her authorized stay.

Any ideas about next steps, please advice.

Apply again. And remember, tourist visa is for 'tourism'. And not for babysitting.
Therefore, answer the questions appropriately in the interview.
