My mom's visitor visa was rejected twice under section 214(B) in New Delhi. I wanted her to attend my graduation in April. I sent all the paper work. We indicated that both of us would jointly provide for her support in the US. The counselor asked her how much she makes and my mom indicated that she makes around 15 to 20k. She conducts coaching classes in Delhi. The counselor also asked her which university i attend and what i do. which she answered. After reviewing the application, my bank statement and an invitation letter from my university the counselor told her that they cannot issue the VISA.
Iam graduating in April and start a new job in the US in June. I really want my mom to come once visit me here. I also have a brother who is attending college in Chennai.
Please advice what is the best approach for applying again. I also have other relatives in the US who are citizens and greencard holders.
