Help in return ticket e ticket #

Hi All

I am filing Visitor Visa extension for my mother. Her current stay expires on Sep 05 2011. I am requesting for the extension upto Nov 27 2011. She has an open ticket with Air India for her travel and I got the return date confirmed to Nov 27 2011 2 days back. Now the problem is Air India is taking 15 days of time to send the E Ticket receipt # due to their internal processing.
What should I do now ?? By the time I receive the E ticket # from Air India it would be too late for filing the extension. Is that ok to send just the itinerary to USCIS as a proof of return date ??
