Please i had my interview at the US Consular in Accra-Ghana and i was refuse..But i really don't understand because the Consular never take a look of my supporting documents and i was able to answer all questions he asked during the interview......It was that i am a student and then my Auntie is the one sponsoring me to come Visit her for a summer holidays so i can meet with her and my cousins as well....So please i need your help if you got any idea about why the consular never take a look at my supporting document and please i will be applying again in December and do you think it's advisable to change my occupation?...Thank you so much and hope to hear from you soon.

You are a student with NO social and economic ties to your home country. If you are over 15-16 years of age, your parents don't count as social ties especially if they are not sponsoring your visa. You also don't have a well-paying job that would be considered as reason for you to return home after visiting the US.

Your intent to return is therefore in real doubt according to the consulate.

There are NO documents you can show at this point to prove your intent to return. A letter from your school/college will not help, nor will a letter from your family.

And if you keep applying they will see you as more and more desperate to visit the US which is not going to help your case.

Either finish your studies in Ghana and apply for a student visa for the US... or apply for a tourist visa after you have a well-paying job and after marriage.
