Need advise - Visitor Visa - DOB Year wrong in appointment

Hi,

I am on H1B visa from past two year. I have blocked an appointment for my parents at the end of May. Mistakenly I gave my father's DOB year as 1946 instead of 1947 while taking the appointment. Will it be a problem?

Could anyone please advise me what should I do now? Everywhere else (Passport, DS-156, etc.) the DOB year is 1947 otherthan the appointment letter. I read in the net that the information that we gave while taking the appoinment will be used to issue the VISA. Now I am scared whether it may cause a problem.

Any suggessions/info regading this would be highly appreciated.

* Tell consulate at the time of interview about correcting it.
