  • Visitor Visa Sponsor docs query

We are applying for my mother's visa and my husband would be the sponsor.

We are here on L1. As per the sample letter to the consulate, we need to mention the Employer details.

In our case, my husband is employed with YYYY company in India and is in USA for a client's assignment.

ques 1 - How do we put this in the Consulate Letter? Example: "I am employed with ZZZ, India and working in USA at client side YYY since 1 year"

ques 2 - Is Employment letter same as Appointment Letter?

ques 3 - A nominal allowance on daily basis is given to us in USA and the salary is credited in the indian account. Can we provide details / bank statements for both USA and India account as the USA account has a very meagre balance?

    Thanks

    Client side is not required.

Whatever letter confirms your current employment.

That is not allowed. On L1 you are a US employee and must get paid in the US as per LCA. It will not be a problem in parent's visitor application, but if pay is less than LCA it can be a problem in L1, L2 extensions or change of status applications.
    Thanks

    See above.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

      Thanks for the answers.

We were given an option to take salary in $$$ or INR and we picked INR as we did not had an account in the USA. So the INR equivalent fo the USA salary is paid in the the Indian account. The allowance just covers day to day expenses and our USA account (which we opened 5 months back) has approx. $1200.

I assume this means that we need the bank statements and bank letter from Indian account.

Ques 1: When we talk about Bank Statement, do we need to get it from bank with their stamp on it? or can we download the same from our online accounts and take prints on normal paper?

Ques 2: As we are here on short term and thebulk finances are in India,
2.1 do we need Employement letter from Indian office as well as from the US couterpart? The Employement agreement of the US counterpart is just an year old (starting when we came to USA), even though my husband has been working for the company since 5+ years.
2.2 On the form I-134, for the finances, do we need to convert all our INR calculations to $$$ (Bank Balance, Property value, Stock Value etc)?

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

      Thanks
