Assistance allowed inside upto visa room?

Hi,

As my mother in law is physically handicapped, she needs assistance, my brother in law is with her when she is going for stamping, will the visa people allow another person inside for her assistance as she needs help?? so that he can help her in interview also as she speaks only in telugu.

My mom is physically handicapped, cannot walk. When she goes for interview, does the consualte provide any wheel chair for handicapped people ?

Or, if she has a wheel chair, will the visa people allow another person inside to take her in the wheel chair? She can speak for herself as she knows english. But it is just that she cannot go by herself as she is handicapped.
