Time gap between In Law's Visitor visa and Mothers Visitor Visa (H1B Candidate)

Dear All-

My mother in law got her visitor visa approved yesterday. I have plans to apply for mother's visitor visa as well.

I wanted to ask you all, how far should there be a gap for my mother to appear before the Visa consular ? Any other points to consider in mind before applying ?
