Hello everyone ,
Please please help... we are going to have our second baby and i will get a c-section .We already have a 3 year old and without parent's help it will be difficult for you to handle everything .Even no one was with us during our first baby's birth so this time we want someone to be with us( even though we cannot mention about pregnancy in front of consular) .Please do not discrad just because it is a lenthy post.
Sorry for too long post
My mother went for US visitor Visa (B-2 catagory) yesterday at Delhi US embassay but she was refused by the officer.
The officer did not chech any of her document and asked following questions that she answered correctly.
1) To whom you are going to visit in US
2) What does your son - in law does
3) What does your husband does
4) How many childern do you have
and then he retured the passport by saying sorry we can not grant you the visa..My mom has not given any refusal form nor anything is wriiten on her passport as refusal reason.
Only thing she can see is : 113-1/263 written on her DS-160 application confirmation.
My mother chosen "Hindi" as the language but at the time of interview consular was asking questions in hindi though he was American citizen but he knew hindi language. My mother greeted him by saying 'good morning' and his repliy was "Namastey" and also my mother used son-in-law and daughter rather then 'beti' and 'damad' we use in hindi for these two relationships.
We are suspecting that he denied for the visa just because my mother used few english words rather then purly hindi words while answering is the cause of the visa denial..as well as he was a bit surprised when mother greeted him saying 'good morning' and replied back in waiting for 2-3 seconds as 'namaskaar' rather then 'good morning'.
Please please if you have any clue let me know your views about it..I will be highly thankful . And this will also help us in preparing for the interview when she goes the next time for visa stamping.
He said something after handling my mother her passport that she do not remember as got way too nervour listing the words' cannot grant you visa'...she thinks that was related to the reason for visa denial..all she lightly remember is his words ' wrong information' but she is not 100% about it as well.
