Hello Everyone,
My parents are having visa interview next week (Self Sponsored) at Hyderabad consulate to visit USA for 2 months (November and December).My question is how much amount is enough to show in bank account for 2 months?.They currently have 13 lakhs of bank balance.They are also showing immovable assets worth 1.67 crores. My father is retired and mother is working.She has Annual income of 6 lakhs. I have also mentioned in invitation that they will be staying with me during with me during their visit(Hoping their accomodation and food costs will not be counted).In DS-160 they are mentioned as SelfSponsor's.
Do you think Bank Balance of 13.5 lakhs , Annual income of 7 lakhs and immovable properties(Worth 1.7 crores) is good enough financial condition or should i cancel their visa appointment and create new DS-160 with intended duration from 2 months to 2 weeks or may be take sponsorship responsibility by myself(H1-B).
