visitor visa for my dad

hi

I am on K3 spouse visa. I want my dad to visit me on his way to New Zealand.
Will there be any problems if i sponsor ( along with my husband)my dad, i mean will this effect my GC. What r the doucments i should send him.
I got my work permit & started working. As know GC take long time..
