urgent!!! cover letter

Hi Immihelp,

I have a question regarding the Documents to be provided to VFS. A cover letter stating the purpose of travel by the applicant. to whom shuld the letter be addressed and what shuld be the contents of it(like the list of documents the applicant is enclosing) ? It shuld be prepared by the applicant or the sponserer. Does the letter need to have signature?

It should be addressed to consulate.

It should have list of documents, purpose of travel and request for issuing visa. Written by applicant.

It should have applican'ts signature.
